Just a remind for aIl, it’s that time of year again — when the weather turns crisp, the fur shed is swept clean, and trappers across the Northeast gather to share stories, gear up, and reconnect with old friends. Rendezvous season is officially here, and we’ve got a great lineup of events for you to mark on your calendar.
These gatherings are more than just conventions — they’re a time-honored tradition. Whether you’re coming to stock up on supplies, attend a trapping demo, or just enjoy the camaraderie around a campfire, there’s no better way to kick off the season.

New Hampshire Trappers Association Rendezvous

🟢 Friday Night Potluck – August 22
Our own NH Rendezvous is right around the corner, and we hope to see a strong turnout. The Friday night potluck (August 22) is always a great time, so bring a dish and join us early for food, firelight, and fellowship. See LINK HERE for details
New England Trappers Rendezvous
📍 Neil Olson’s place, Bethel, Maine
📅 August 14-17 2025
This legendary event is hosted at Neil Olson’s place in Bethel, ME. It draws trappers from all across New England and beyond. Expect a solid lineup of vendors, demos, and old-fashioned storytelling.
New York State Trappers Convention
📍 County Fairgrounds, Herkimer, NY
📅 August 28–30, 2025
One of the biggest regional events, the NY convention offers three full days of education, entertainment, and plenty of gear. A must-attend if you want to catch up on the latest tools and techniques.
Vermont Trappers Association Rendezvous
📍 Fairgrounds, Barton, VT
📅 September 20–21, 2025
Vermont’s fall rendezvous is always a laid-back and well-run event. Expect great food, engaging demos, and a strong showing from local trappers. A great family-friendly stop on the fall circuit.
Maine Trappers Association Rendezvous
📍 Windsor Fairgrounds, Windsor, ME
📅 September 12–13, 2025
Maine rounds out the season with its September rendezvous in Windsor. It’s a great way to wrap up the circuit and connect with our northern neighbors.
